About Us:

 

Coughlin Automotive was founded in 1991 with the purchase of our dealership in Newark, Ohio and is owned by brothers Al and Mike Coughlin. Since then, we have grown to become the largest dealer of new, pre-owned, and certified vehicles in Licking County, Ohio. We have locations in Newark, Johnstown, Circleville and Pataskala offering a wide range of brands including: Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Ford, Nissan, Toyota, and Scion. In July 2006, we opened our new state of the art facility in Pataskala, Ohio.

Description Due to recent brand and location growth, Coughlin Automotive has the need to fill several certified technician positions located throughout Licking, Pickaway and Union counties.  If you are looking for hours to turn, stop by any of our locations and complete an application.  

General Purpose of the Position:
  • Utilize skills, computers and tools to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair broken or worn mechanical and electrical components.    
  • Install equipment, components and systems.  
  • Testing vehicles both before and after repair.  
  • Abide by the company policy manual  
  • Maintain service logs              

Requirements Excellent attention to detail.         
Must have own tools.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Parts Writer--Coughlin Ford of Johnstown

Coughlin Automotive of Johnstown is accepting resumes for the position of Parts Advisor/Manager.  As a Parts Advisor/Manager you are responsible for selling parts, inventory control, personnel management, reporting, and all other day to day functions of a busy parts department.  Ford parts experience preferred but will train the right candidate.  Must have excellent communication skills and be able to achieve sales objectives.  To apply, please email your confidential resume to hr@coughlincars.com or complete an application at 670 W. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains parts inventory by verifying supplies; placing orders when necessary.
  • Stock items into inventory verifying accuracy.
  • Receive and return damaged items to supplier.
  • Assists parts driver by preparing deliveries and emergency orders.
  • Refers to parts manuals to determine parts needed for specific models and makes of vehicles.
  • Assist customers in there parts needs.
  • Maintain safe and secure environment by following safety procedures.
  • Locates out of stock items.
  • Complete sales by entering into sales/inventory system.
  • Answer phone calls.
  • Cut keys.
  • Assist service technicians in selecting parts to complete repair orders.
  • Order parts for customers and internal needs.
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor.
